Auto maker Chrysler said two plants in Michingan,one in St.Louis,one in Toledo,two factories in Ontario,Canada,one in Mexico,these seven plants will reopen during the week of June 29.This was the first time that most employees will back to work since Chrysler filed for bankruptcy.
Three assembly lines,one in Illinois,one in Detroit and another in Mexico will remain shut for the time being.Those plants employ about 5,000 workers between them.
Chrysler has about 38,000 employees in the U.S. and 9000 in Canada, and 5000 in Mexico.Most of them will be returning to their jobs later this month.
